Interested in volunteering around the world?
Families of students interested in our upcoming high school service trip to South Africa are invited to attend an informational parent meeting on Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Learning Commons. This meeting is intended for juniors, sophomores, freshmen and incoming 8th graders who are interested in learning more but have not yet signed up.
We have 15 students signed up and have room for a few more. The trip is sponsored by the World Language Department and will include both a tourism component and a volunteer component along with travel to Johannesburg and Cape Town and is scheduled for February of 2027.
We will discuss the trip itinerary, travel logistics, costs, fundraising, safety and expectations, with time for questions throughout. Attendance is strongly encouraged for both students and an adult family member.
