The Chelmsford High School Theatre Guild is announcing its return to live performances with original productions The King Is Dead and The Last Person On Earth, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, May 20-22, for a limited audience at the CHS Carl J. Rondina Performing Arts Center.

The King Is Dead, a 30-minute play written by CHS senior Hannah Nettikadan, will be performed at 7:00 while the production of The Last Person On Earth, written by senior Allison Dorsey and local playwright Eloise Hoffman, will take the stage soon after.

Attendance is limited to 100 people per performance. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by any cast member or at the CHS main office at (978) 251-5111. Checks are accepted and payable to the Chelmsford High School Theatre Guild. Attendees are asked to include name, number of tickets and date of the performance and can retrieve their tickets at the will call window the night of the show.

Masks must be worn at all times during the productions. Attendees are reminded to refrain from attending if experiencing any Covid-19-related symptoms.

LIME 8-Hour Relay @ CHS Carson Plateau
May 22 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

The 2021 LIME (Leaders in Motion Everywhere) 8-Hour Relay, a condensed version of the 24-Hour Relay, is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Chelmsford High School Carson Plateau. The rain date will be Sunday, May 23.

Students will participate in teams of 1-10 people, with some joining virtually as well.  Prizes are typically awarded for aspects such as best team “campsite” design, participation in theme laps, sporting tournaments, among other events.

Student registration is $25, with all of the profits benefitting local charities including:

  • The Lowell Wish Project
  • The Chelmsford Food Pantry
  • The Chelmsford Public Library
  • Livesmart
  • Chelmsford Police and Fire Departments’ Crime Prevention & Fire Prevention Programs
  • The Chelmsford High School Alumni Association
  • The Chelmsford Senior Center

Faculty may come for part or all of the event.  If you would like to form a faculty team, please contact board members:
