The Sun: Chelmsford secures AAA credit rating, reflecting the town’s stability, ‘financial conservatism’

CHELMSFORD — For the first time in the town’s history, Chelmsford received a Standard & Poor’s financial rating of AAA, the highest it can earn.
The ratings report, shared June 15, means Chelmsford will secure the lowest possible interest rates on future bond payments, in turn saving taxpayers money.
