How to qualify for the Honors Program at Chelmsford High School
Honors testing for current eighth-grade students enrolled in accelerated mathematics will take place in February. In order to qualify for the Honors Program at the High School, a student must meet at least six of the following criteria:
- 6th Grade Legacy MCAS score 530+
- 7th Grade Next Generation MCAS score 530+
- Continental Math League Test score 18+ out of 30 points
- New England Math League Test score 20+ out of 35 points
- Grade Average of 95%
- Teacher Recommendation
- Passing the honors placement test
