Title I: Enhancing academic programs for all students
The elementary years are critical years within which we must build a solid foundation of skills and develop a true love of learning. We are extremely excited to be able to offer additional services to our elementary students in an effort to help all students reach their fullest potential.
Title 1 is a federally funded grant program allocated to districts to enhance academic programs for all students. Each elementary school has added at least one math and one reading interventionist to provide additional support for students.
Students are selected for targeted interventions based on assessment data and teacher recommendation. The timeframe for these interventions varies depending upon the specific skills and needs of the students.
