The incumbents won the night in the Chelmsford School Committee race Tuesday, with committee members Dennis King and Susan Mackinnon reelected to new terms.
Mackinnon was the top vote-getter in the School Committee race with 3,025 votes, according to unofficial results. King took the second seat with 2,444 votes, while challenger Lauren Cochran trailed with 2,082 votes.
On Chelmsford TeleMedia with hosts Kelly Beatty and Glenn Thoren after the results were in Tuesday night, Mackinnon was asked about what went into her decision to run for another term, and said there was “very little doubt” she was going to run again.
